Domain intelligence platform

Know the domain / website / business.

See whether a domain has traffic, how its rank is moving, and what sits behind it: registration, DNS, subdomains, and keywords in one profile, with the source behind each signal.

  • TLDs in the directory: 1,400+. Generic, country-code, and sponsored.
  • AtlasRank history: 12 months. One rank a month, Sep 2025 to Aug 2026.
  • Refresh cadence: Monthly. AtlasRank each month; registration and DNS once a cached copy is 6 hours old.
  • Measured on the live service on October 2, 2026.
  • Inspect registration, DNS, subdomain, traffic, and rank signals from one domain profile.
  • Read up to 12 months of AtlasRank history, keyword sets, detected technology, and the AtlasRank lists from the same profile and API.
  • Use the same normalized Domain Atlas API surface that powers the console.
  • Trace every visible value back to its API endpoint and source label.
  • Watch any domain on Pro and get alerted when rank, traffic, DNS, or registration changes, on the cadence you choose.
  • Map developer, marketer, security, and investor questions to the domain signals and API paths behind them.
  • Review access model, operational controls, data lineage, and data handling before a technical buyer approves a workflow.
  • OpenAPI: Machine-readable contract.
  • Request IDs: Traceable responses.
  • Source coverage: Field-level provenance.
  • Cache state: Freshness metadata.
  • Domain profile (/api/v1/domains/:domain/overview) answers: What is behind this domain?
  • AtlasRank history (/api/v1/domains/:domain/rank) answers: Is this site gaining visibility?
  • Compare and cohorts (/api/v1/research-state/cohort-metrics) answers: Is my competitor growing?
  • Traffic and DNS (/api/v1/domains/:domain/traffic) answers: Is the site active, and how is it set up?
  • Keywords and technology (/api/v1/domains/:domain/keywords) answers: What is the site about, and what does it run on?
  • AtlasRank lists (/api/v1/top-lists/:source) answers: Who is moving in the market?
  • Watchlist (/api/v1/saved-domains) answers: What changed since I last looked?
  • Research (/api/v1/atlas/domains) answers: Which names on a list deserve a closer look?
  • Access model: Session access for the console, hashed customer API keys for data endpoints, and revocation from the key workspace. Route: Security review.
  • Operational controls: Request IDs on every response, rate-limit responses with retry hints, uncached account responses, browser security headers, and health endpoints that report status without exposing secrets. Route: Sales and support.
  • Data lineage: Visible endpoint, field path, source family, cache state, and coverage status for domain profile sections. Route: Sales and support.
  • Data handling: Internal credentials stay server-side, customer keys are shown once, and lookup activity is described in the privacy model. Route: Privacy and data.

Questions

What is Domain Atlas?

Domain Atlas brings registration, DNS, subdomains, traffic trends, keywords, technology, and up to 12 months of AtlasRank history into one profile. Switch any card to API to see the request behind it and copy the call.

How should I read the traffic data?

Traffic trends are derived from Atlas Score, the composite metric behind AtlasRank. Available data and history vary by domain. Read them as direction and relative movement over time, not as visit counts.

Who is Domain Atlas built for?

Developers, marketers, security teams that need fast triage, and domain investors who need domain evidence they can inspect in a console and automate through an API.

Do I need an account to look up a domain?

Yes. Lookups require a free account. Every new account starts with 3 days of full Pro access, no card required, and moves to the Free plan after that.

Can I watch a domain for changes?

Yes, on Pro. Add domains to your watchlist, choose a daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly digest, or an email only when rank, traffic, DNS, or registration changes. Pro watches up to 100 domains and Enterprise has no cap.

Can I get the console's data through the API?

Yes. Every domain value the console shows comes from a Domain Atlas API endpoint you can call with your own key, except the watchlist and cohort metrics (Compare, Research's 12-month columns), which are session only today. Switch any card to API to copy its request.
